The Reason I Wanted To Move (Part 2)

About a month ago, this happened.

On Tuesday, one of my grandmother's neighbors (who rents a trailer and lot from my parents), called my dad to tell him that someone who used to work for my grandfather's business was seen skulking around the barns in my grandmother's yard. The neighbor tried to confront the man, who had his bicycle with him, but the man ran and effectively disappeared (said neighbor drove around the area after making sure that nothing looked tampered with around the barn).

Apparently, a night or so before this incident, the neighbor had been at a bar and this man had come up to him to sell him a clock for $20 so that he could get back on his feet. The neighbor bought the clock and told the man where he lived and said when he got back on his feet he could get his clock back for the $20 that was paid. Apparently, since this man had worked for my grandfather he recognized where the neighbor lived and we think this is probably what prompted him to "pay a visit."

My dad is going to call a relative of this man to let him know what happened and that my grandmother's property is being watched but I can't help but feel a little guilty because we aren't down there to take care of stuff like this for her, yet.

Sadly, there is no news on the job hunting front. Matthew had another interview, yesterday, with the store whose mass-hire session we went to last week and they said they would call him back that afternoon but, as far as I know, they have not contacted him.

Strange people skulking around the property is the reason I am going to teach you how to handle a gun.
