Shoes Shoes Shoes

Unfortunately, my black dress shoes (both pairs) were packed up in our move and I can't find the box we put them in. So, I've been looking around for a cute pair of shoes just in case I find something reasonable that I like better before I find my box...

I came across a website for Blowfish Women's Shoes. Most of Blowfish's designer shoes are too wild for me but they do have some cute casual shoes and boots. Unfortunately, they are designer shoes and are sold at places that have designer prices so no Blowfish Shoes for this cheapskate. ;)

An Eating Out Weirdness

We went out tonight, to a local steakhouse (a local chain, even). This place isn't the nicest restaurant around but they make a perfect steak every time (at least in the four or five times we have been there). And, they have a great salad bar. We were expecting it to be a little on the expensive side because it is steak after all. We got our check, gave the waitress our card to scan and when she brought the bill and my card back...

It was suddenly $9.00 more than it was when she took it up...

It was just about the amount of tip I was going to leave. Coincidental? I think not.

We couldn't catch the waitress again to ask her about it but, needless to say, we won't be going back there.
